Ampwater Apps ("we", "our", or "us") is responsible for the Fitness Age app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using Fitness Age, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Fitness Age is designed to work with minimal data collection with a privacy-first mindset.
To calculate your fitness age, the app may ask you to input:
- Age
- Biological sex
- VO2 max value (entered manually or sourced from Apple Health)
This information is processed and stored entirely on your device. We do not transmit the values you enter. We do not upload, share, or store your Health data on any external server, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing purposes.
Apple Health Data
Fitness Age may request access to Apple Health data, including VO2 max and related fitness metrics. We access this data solely to perform calculations within the app. We do not upload, share, or store your Health data on any external server, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing purposes.
You can grant or revoke Health permissions at any time via Settings › Privacy & Security › Health on your device.
How We Use Your Information
Any data processed by the app is used solely to:
- Calculate and display your estimated fitness age
- Show trends or history within the app (stored locally on your device)
We do not use your information for any other purpose.
Data Storage
All data entered into or processed by Fitness Age is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate any servers that receive or store your personal information. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed.
Third-Party Services
Fitness Age does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. The only external framework used is Apple's HealthKit, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no user account or data profile to access, correct, or delete. All data resides locally on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.
